Lahey Health Clinical Coord Nursing, Surgical Services, 40 hours in Beverly, Massachusetts
Responsible for providing guidance, clinical expertise, and mentoring to members of the health care team. In compliance with regulatory standards, the Clinical Coordinator maintains accountability for the daily execution of the OR schedule, provides input with clinical and budgetary management functions, as well as, monitoring and evaluating activities pertinent to the operations of the department. Is responsible for meeting the established standards of nursing practice for managing/overseeing the care and services by professionals and ancillary personnel. Works collaboratively with patients, physicians & interdepartmental personnel to achieve patient goals. Participates in staff performance evaluations. Work closely with Materials Management Department.

Act as a clinical resource for perioperative services personnel using professional guidelines and evidence-based standards.
Works closely with surgeons, anesthesia and staff to maintain a positive work environment, improve efficiencies, be fiscally responsible and improve care.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with members of the perioperative team and other stakeholders.
Acts as a role model for staff
Use effective problem solving and conflict resolution techniques.
Develops and maintains staff schedules
Participate in interviews for new employees
Gives feedback and helps Manager with performance evaluations.
11.Assists the Manager in maintaining staff competencies
Pursue professional growth and participate in a professional organization.
Act as a patient advocate and maintain privacy and confidentiality of individuals and health information. Qualifications Education/Licensure/Certification Mandatory:
A Bachelor degree is required
Previous leadership experience preferred
Licensed by the Massachusetts State board of nursing as a Registered Nurse
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Certified Nurse, Operating Room (CNOR) certification
Three years OR experience
Basic computer skills (eg, Microsoft Word)
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Excellent critical thinking skills
Master's degree in nursing, education, or other related field
Advanced computer skills (eg, Microsoft? PowerPoint, Excel) Scheduled Hours 40 hours per week, 8 hour day shifts.
