Responsibilities:

The Diagnostic Medical Sonography Department seeks adjunct faculty to teach hands-on instruction in our state of the art sonography lab for the Echocardiography Lab I course. The course content will include introductory scanning techinques and the transthoracic echocardiogram protocol. This is a 15-week course in the Fall 2017 semester and is based on the Worcester campus.

Lab times* are as follows: Tuesdays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m Wednesdays, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m Fridays, 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m

Applications are invited from sonographers interested in covering one, two, or all three labs.

*Lab times may be adjusted if necessary.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor?s degree Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer in the discipline to be taught RDCS or CCI: Adult Echocardiography A minimum of five years of full-time experience in a hospital environment.

Desired: Master?s degree College level teaching experience in a CAAHEP or NEASC-accredited sonography program
