The Admissions Operations Manager handles all operational aspects of running a successful graduate admissions office. This includes application setup and data transfer, driving completion of applications from receipt to review and final decision, purchasing, room scheduling, recruitment support and event planning.

Supporting and reporting to the Director of Admissions, this role is critical to application flow management by working collaboratively with the admissions office, faculty, staff, and the entire education team.

The successful candidate will have a strong customer service orientation and communication skills to support the needs of the office and be able to problem solve within a fast-paced environment.

This position will work heavily within the application software, WebAdmit, as well as within the Microsoft office suite to generate reports, print official decision letters, and oversee timely decision making.

Required Skills

Requirements:

3+ years of general office experience preferably in operations, accounts payable/receivable, scheduling/planning, data systems, process improvement, and/or customer service

2+ years of experience in higher education preferably in admissions

Strong Microsoft Office skills with an emphasis on Word and Excel

Ability to prioritize competing needs of the office in a fast-paced environment

Strong communication skills

Bachelors degree or equivalent additional years of experience
