We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Registrar to oversee all aspects of the academic record, certify students for graduation, and manage the automated degree audit module. Our ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to be both a team player and independent contributor. This key role will have numerous responsibilities including:

  • Overseeing all aspects of the student's academic record including the electronic records transfer from Admissions offices to Registrar; ensuring the integrity of all records-related practices including transfer credit, AP credit, grade changes, course exceptions, and placement results;

  • Managing the degree certification process, which includes performing both junior and final audits, communicating discrepancies, identifying solutions, and facilitating subsequent correspondence among students, faculty and staff for both December and May conferrals;

  • Determining and posting graduation honors and degrees on student information system; printing in-house diplomas and certificates;

  • Programming and maintaining degree audit module for all degree-seeking students, which requires a thorough knowledge of constantly changing curriculum and academic policy;

  • Performing data retrieval in preparation for routine and ad hoc reports;

  • Participating in office projects and other assignments as necessary.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the College's mission and the value of Catholic higher education. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 2 years progressively responsible experience in a registrar's office or related setting is required. Student Information System experience preferred and Ellucian Colleague experience is a plus. Microsoft Office skills required. Ability to speak and write clearly and persuasively and excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required.
