Suffolk University Law School in Boston invites applications for a tenure-track clinical faculty member to direct its dynamic Prosecutors Program starting in the 2018-2019 academic year. We seek candidates with strong academic records and a commitment to excellence in teaching, service, and scholarship. Prior experience in clinical teaching is preferred, though not required. At least five years of criminal prosecution experience and either admission to the Massachusetts bar, or eligibility to gain admission, are required.

The Prosecutors Program is a clinic hybrid in which students are embedded in local District Attorney Offices, but closely supervised and taught by clinical faculty.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual who will maintain and cultivate relationships with several District Attorney Offices. In addition to teaching a full-year clinic that includes a weekly seminar, all clinical faculty teach one non-clinical course in a related field.

The Prosecutors Program is one of many experiential educational offerings at Suffolk Law School and is part of two nationally ranked programs at Suffolk - the Trial and Appellate Advocacy Concentration, which was ranked 16thamong such programs last year and the Clinical Programs, which was ranked 17thlast year among its peers.Interested applicants should address a cover letter, résumé, and a list of three references.
