The Licensing Administrator performs day-to-day administrative duties and monitors the activities and progress of current programs according to established performance measurements and objectives. Administrators are expected to have a solid understanding of program processes, work within a framework of established and regulated policies and procedures, and have the ability to develop relationships across the program team to facilitate coordination of activities.
The Licensing Administrator reviews and processes branch and agent license and renewal applications to ensure particular statutory and regulatory requirements are met. The Administrator processes ATM registrations and maintains a tracking of applications and annual Schedule Q’s. Communication with licensed entities includes discussions with management, staff, and/or legal representatives to explain licensing processes and assist in the preparation of applications.

SALARY PLACEMENT IS DETERMINED BY YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION DIRECTLY RELATED TO THE POSITION AND THE HUMAN RESOURCES DIVISION’S RECRUITING GUIDELINES. IN THE CASE OF A PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITY, THE SALARY PROVISIONS OF THE APPLICABLE COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT WILL APPLY TO (OR WILL BE UTILIZED FOR) PLACEMENT WITHIN THE SALARY RANGE.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) two years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
I. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.*
II. A Bachelor's or higher degree with a major other than in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required experience.*
*Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
