The Institute for Sustainable Energy (ISE) at Boston University seeks 2 post-doctoral fellows in the area of clean energy electricity grids.

The postdoc fellow will be working on a multi-year industry-sponsored research project that explore national and transnational expansion of clean electricity systems. The project will examine the planning, financing, and regulatory issues presented by transnational power grids. It will evaluate the clean energy potentials of key regions, the technical attributes of transmission systems capable of delivering this potential and economics and governance issues crucial to progress in this area.

Fellows are appointed for one year, beginning 1 September 2017.

Required Skills

Applicants must have a PhD degree by starting date. Degrees in economics, finance, engineering, environmentally-focused natural sciences, business, public policy, statistics and others are relevant to the work of the Institute.
