This Research Assistant I will be responsible for:
Performing molecular biology bench work.
Assisting with other lab members’ projects.
Handling work with mouse models.
Managing the lab mouse colony.
Assisting with lab organization.
Handling some lab administrative duties.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Chemistry or a closely related field, some lab experience and a strong interest in research.
The analytical skills to resolve problems that require the use of basic scientific, mathematical, or technical principles.
Excellent skills in molecular bench work.
Excellent ability to handle research mouse colony management.
A minimum 2 year commitment, preferred.
