The Admissions Office of Emmanuel College is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Admissions. The Senior Assistant Director, reporting to the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions, participates in recruitment activities designed to achieve the College's enrollment goals and mission as a Catholic, co-educational, liberal arts and sciences college. He or she will provide guidance, support, training and positive leadership to the Admission team. This person will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to meet recruitment goals. Duties include representing Emmanuel College at high school visits, college fairs, and other programs; interviewing prospective students; reviewing applications; and recommending admissions decisions. Other responsibilities include local and long-distance travel, maintaining contact with prospective students from initial stages of inquiry through enrollment; and planning and organizing on-campus and off-campus recruitment events.

Candidates should have at least three years of experience in admissions or a related field. Our ideal candidates will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the College's mission and the value of Catholic higher education; and possess strong verbal and written skills, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to take initiative for planning and implementing projects. The ability to work well under pressure, demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks, and a desire to work in team-oriented environment is essential. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree; a Bachelor's degree is required.
