Simmons College seeks a Visiting Lecturer in Finance. This one-year visiting position in Finance begins in Fall 2017. Preference is given to candidates with an earned doctoral degree, and a strong commitment to teaching. Candidates who are ABD will also be considered. Candidates should have an active research agenda, and show evidence of the potential for a solid record of peer-reviewed publications, and currency in the field. Responsibilities include teaching across undergraduate and graduate programs and service to the school and college. There are opportunities for face-to face instruction and for online course development and teaching. Visiting faculty members are actively mentored, and are encouraged and supported as they develop themselves professionally. Faculty enjoy a collegial environment with small class sizes, a state-of-the-art LEED-certified building, an engaged alumnae base, and close relationships with the business community.

Specific teaching assignments include undergraduate courses in investments, finance and financial statement analysis. Candidates also will develop and teach the financial capstone course in the online MBA program.
