ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, HOUSING ASSIGNMENTS, Housing, to serve as a member of the Housing assignments team, facilitating undergraduate housing and dining processes and programs by effectively managing MIT’s housing and dining enterprise system. Will manage housing assignments for over 3,000 undergraduate residence hall bed spaces as well as meal plan enrollment for residents participating in the House Dining Program and the community at large; collaborate with others in order to ensure the successful execution of housing and dining assignment programs; and effectively generate reports, analyze data, and provide support in the assessment and presentation of programs. REQUIRED: a master’s degree in higher education/student personnel administration or related field; a minimum of four years’ experience in a housing/residence life setting with increasing levels of responsibility; supervisory experience; demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills in dealings with students, faculty, and staff; strong computer and database skills; ability to present information and analyze data effectively and to utilize, maintain, and train others on technological platforms (i.e., web-based systems, enterprise housing software, and websites).
