Sanofi Group Associate Director, CRM/VEEVA Training in Cambridge, Massachusetts

The Associate Director of Training will be responsible for strategic planning and implementation of a training program design via eLearning, live meetings, virtual training and on demand training courses, for a new CRM system recently launched across 5 therapeutic areas. As lead trainer, this person will be responsible for training deliveries, and will develop and mentor a support network through a train-the-trainer model. The CRM Trainer will work directly with senior leadership to evaluate and continuously improve existing internal training and programs. The position will actively gather stakeholder feedback and develop strategic training plans and content to bring enhanced educational awareness to stakeholders. The Veeva Trainer will gain a full understanding of the system and business processes, so best practices can be outlined to employees in different therapeutic areas, tailored to their usage and requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The primary focus of this role will be planning, developing / designing and also delivering both large and small-scale trainings to new hires, business users and subject matter experts across functions and therapeutics areas on current system and updated functionalities.

• Work directly with senior leadership in order to determine best practices, leverage learnings across therapeutic areas, and continuously improve tool adoption.

• Provide a high level of strategic analysis and planning with the ability to work with and manage demands and expectations from multiple internal customers.

• Establish and implement key metrics to track and communicate level of value and impact of training initiatives to all stakeholders.

• Full responsibility for the on-the-ground execution and deployment of training experiences.

• Develop and deliver trainings both face-to-face and remote; train subject matter experts who will serve as trainers.

• Assess activities across therapeutic areas and identify opportunities for improved training outreach to the business.• Maintain a library of multi-media support materials, including training guides, videos, simulations e-learnings, etc.

• Create new training materials as needed to support new functionality and requests from the business.

• Work collaboratively with the Operations Managers and the Field Force Enablement team to determine and support communication and training needs for users.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree required.

• The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience with at least 2 years leading training programs.

• Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to digest complex business processes and distill them down to their simplest forms.

• Experience in the development, maintenance and administration of e-learning materials & training programs.

• Someone with energy and enthusiasm, ability to work within a fast-paced changing business.

• Proactive, confident and someone with a willingness to learn new skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with Salesforce.com and/or Veeva.

• Familiarity with authoring tools (Articulate storyline preferred)

• Demonstrated ability to work in a highly matrixed environment with multiple cross- functional partners.

Travel required, approximately 35%.
