Job Description

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, EXECUTIVE PROGRAMS, Sloan School of Management, to manage a portfolio of custom and open enrollment programs through their full program lifecycles. Will be responsible for client and faculty relationship management, program design, budgeting, delivery, operational quality, educational outcomes, and financial performance; adhere to and as necessary provide leadership in the development of organizational standards and practices for the management and delivery of programs; consult with the line manager on implementing an active performance plan and metrics for own performance and for program delivery teams; support the business development process in generating and responding to client requests for executive education offerings; participate in and lead cross-functional teams to deliver organization-wide business process improvements and innovation; maintain in-depth knowledge of the full portfolio of program offerings, including those managed by other directors in order to advise companies and individuals in their selection of MIT Sloan Executive Education programs; leverage relationships and activities across campus (e.g., with Resource Development, Industrial Liaison Program, and the research centers) to enhance program and client development; and provide organizational leadership and management in areas of strategic value to the business. May supervise staff in small teams and/or larger organizational units.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a bachelor's degree (MBA preferred); a minimum of five years in executive education or related area; experience applying learning technology and online learning in the field of executive education; significant industry experience. Familiarity with MIT Sloan and/or MIT Sloan executive education programs highly desirable. Job #14819-P
