54314BRJob Title:Lead TeacherJob Description:Bright Horizons at Mass Ave is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic educator for our Pre-K Teacher position with leadership experience in the classroom. In this role, you will have the responsibility of engaging children through our emergent and hands-on curriculum and influencing their growth as life-long learners.

Your self-contained classroom allows you to take advantage of all the features of Bright Horizons’ curriculum elements, where educators are able to provide specific learning objectives and targeted goals followed by activities designed to build upon them.

These features include a SMART board with pre-loaded and customizable lesson plans, a leveled-reading program to engage children with pre-reading skills, Everyday Math and Handwriting Without Tears programs to engage students in math concepts and literacy through hands-on activities, materials and resources to support a STEM enriched experience, and social-emotional development through appreciation of diversity, stewardship of environments, and personal responsibility.

  • High school diploma/GED required

  • Related college-level course work and Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree required
