Experience in biomaterials, medical device development or biotechnology is desirable. The candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills. The Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University seeks a talented, enthusiastic individual to work as a Research Assistant focusing on providing support to fabricate and characterize a diverse pipeline of products at the Wyss Institute. Working under the supervision of senior staff, this person will be responsible for: fabricating material and supplies to support technology development, optimizing and conducting product characterization; implement process improvements; reading and writing technical reports and specifications, and maintaining appropriate records; initiating and generating ideas based on literature and research. Collaboration with other Wyss personnel to achieve objectives and enhance service quality is expected.
