Bose DSP Training Specialist in Framingham, Massachusetts
The DSP Training Specialist will be responsible for direct-to-dealer and consultant training in the proper design, installation and commissioning of Bose Professional ControlSpace products. In addition the DSP Training Specialist will provide train-the-trainer sessions for other Bose Employees.
The audio conferencing market will be the primary focus for this position. A strong knowledge of the conference market, including VoIP system set-up and conference room commissioning for audio conferencing is required.
The DSP Training Specialist will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation and training material. Based on interaction with Dealers and the technical support team the DSP Training Specialist will be responsible for identifying and prioritizing training and documentation needs.
Live training sessions will be provided at Bose facilities and remote venues worldwide. In addition, the DSP training specialist will support online training content development, including the gathering and sharing use-case examples from the field.
The DSP Training Specialist must be able to work independently taking full responsibility for deadlines.
Be a technical expert on Bose Professional Digital Signal Processor (DSP) and networked amplifier and their supporting devices and software.
Become an expert in ControlSpace Designer/Remote programming and application
Be able to independently commission conferencing systems
Create and maintain content library of technical training
Assist in the development and maintenance of content for online, self-serve style technical training
Provide multi-day in person technical training at Bose facility
Assist in the maintenance of Bose Pro training facilities
Create micro-training tracks for the local sales teams to deliver
Provide training and technical assistance to further the knowledge of the technical support team.
Develop content for online knowledgebase
Review ControlSpace related content developed by others for posting to online knowledgebase
Assist in the maintenance of online knowledgebase
This person will have a proven track record (7-10 years) of professional audio systems design and commissioning with a focus in the audio conference market. It is strongly desirable that they have installation experience directly or hands on in a role as project manager or systems engineer.
Communication, both written and oral
Experience creating and delivering technical training programs
Collaboration- teamwork with technical support group, sales reps, sales engineers, management, and product development
Time management, ability to keep time, quality and deadline commitments.
Self-motivated, ability to work independently and meet targets
Programming of professional audio DSP units
Some control system programming (Crestron, AMX or similar), is desirable
CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, or similar), is desirable, but not required
Commissioning software (Systune, Smaart, or similar)
