We have an opening for a Group Exercise Instructor to work at our employer based Fitness Centerlocated in Hopkinton, MA!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Provide group exercise class instruction to the members at a worksite based fitness center.
Create class formats for members of all ability levels and modify routines if needed.
Maintain and ensure a safe exercise environment for all class participants by adhering to the site specific safety and injury prevention procedures.
Complete all assigned compliance trainings and maintain all mandatory certifications.

Group Fitness Instructor, Certified Personal training or other specialty fitness certification (required for step, spin, yoga, pilates And etc.)
Yoga instructors must have a nationally recognized certification with a 200 hour requirement
Current certification in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for community/lay responder is required
First Aid Certification.
- 1-3 years of experience instructing group exercise classes
Knowledge and Skills:
List the basic knowledge (what you need to know) and skillsrequired to perform the essential job functions, regardless of how the knowledge and skills were acquired.
(Examples: basic mathematics, programming languages, computer software, ISO standards, GMP, effective oral and written communication skills, operation of a forklift or pallet jack, manual dexterity skills.)
