Lahey Hospital & Medical Center seeks a fellowship trained complex spine neurosurgeon with an interest in adult deformity correction and outcomes assessment.
The Department of Neurosurgery consists of 7 neurosurgeons including two vascular neurosurgeons, a non-operative spine pain specialist, and 8 advanced practitioners. The department has one junior resident, a senior neurosurgery resident (from Tufts), and a full-time CAST-approved operative spine fellow. OR resources include Stealth and O-arm navigation, neuromonitoring, and Leica and Zeiss Microscopes.
Significant resources are provided for outcomes and cost-effectiveness research. An academic promotion through Tufts University School of Medicine would be arranged based on academic credentials.
Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, a founding member of Lahey Health, is a tertiary care, 317-bed hospital with a Level II trauma center, and approximately 5,000 daily outpatient visits.
We are a physician-led, multi-disciplinary group practice of 500 physicians delivering care in Burlington and Peabody as well as multiple community practice sites. The Lahey Health integrated delivery system consists of over 1,200 clinicians providing care throughout Lahey Health’s network of acute care hospitals, ambulatory centers, physician practice sites, behavioral health facilities, long-term care facilities, and home health organizations. Lahey Hospital and Medical Center is a major academic affiliate of Tufts Medical School. An academic promotion may be possible through Tufts University School of Medicine.
