Salem State University is seeking adjunct professors to teach courses in a new community education track. Candidates should have experience in community-based or after-school educational settings/work. Courses may include Introduction to Community Education, Policy, Program Planning and Evaluation, and Internship Supervision. Teaching assignments will depend upon the expertise of the candidate and needs of the program.
Duties may also include advising students and curriculum/program development. Work collaboratively with faculty, in a school with future-directed leadership and a collective focus on academic excellence, success of our students and faculty development.

Appropriate terminal degree
College-level teaching experience, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels
Experience teaching a multicultural population

Adjunct positions are temporary for one semester only, with a possibility for re-hire. All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the United States. Adjunct positions are not eligible for H1B Visa sponsorship
