Salary Range: $70,000-$75,000-commensurate with experience and education

Work Day/Year: 8:30am-4:30pm/Twelve months with additional hours required to

fulfill position responsibilities

Objective: To provide support to critical areas of registration and service coordination.

Supervision: Analyze and develop efficient practice in PIC, transportation and translation.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Student Registration

  • Manages registration practices in Parent Information Center (PIC)

  • Supervises and evaluates PIC staff

  • Organizes with PIC staff and schools for kindergarten registration efforts

  • Works with Special Education Dept. and Principals

  • Record review

  • Student placement

  • PreK registration

  • Coordinate completion of DESE reports

  • Interface with ELL and Nursing Departments

  • Testing

  • Record review

  • Parent outreach

  • Support ongoing student registration process

  • Student Transportation

  • Prepares, coordinates and administers regular and special education student student transportation with the use of transportation software; regularly coordinates and helps resolve student transportation issues

  • Works directly with provides appropriate routes for regular and special education transportation

  • Prepares bus routes notice for media and website

  • Maintains database on regular and special education transportation

  • Makes adjustments and changes as necessary

  • Works closely with special education administrators to develop sound practice and efficiency

  • Assigns accounts, review and approve invoices

  • District Translation and Coordination

  • Manages request for translation and interpretations

  • Non-Spanish

  • Interface with translators regarding Spanish translation/interpretations

  • Coordinates with attendance officer on matters of residency

  • Residency regulations

  • Proof of residency issues

Other Functions:

· Completes special projects as assigned

· Performs general administrative functions, including but not limited to: developing program correspondence and responding to inquiries and request for information

· Performs similar or related work as required or as the situation dictates

· Performs other tasks as assigned
