Position Title Adjunct Teaching Professor-Systems Engineering Department Corporate & Professional Education (NTT/PT) Basic Function Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking part time adjunct faculty to teach day and/or evening classes for our Corporate and Professional Education Department. Part-time faculty positions are created to provide an available applicant pool for the department. Positions will be filled on an as needed basis. Start dates will vary by course and semester. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Adjunct Teaching Professor will potentially teach graduate courses off campus in a corporate setting, or online. Specific topics of interest include: Concepts of Systems Engineering, Systems Architecture and Design, Systems Integration, Verification, and Validation, Model-Based Systems Engineering, ST: Engineering Dependable and Secure Systems, Business Practices for Systems Engineers, System Optimization, Requirements Engineering, Introduction to Systems Thinking Position Requirements Ideal applicant will hold an advance degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline with significant practical experience in the relevant area, as well as having successful graduate teaching experience.
