The Maehr Lab focuses on combining stem cell biology and immunology to understand human immune syndromes, including Type 1 Diabetes. We develop and study human pluripotent stem cell-based disease models. In this role you will assist pluripotent stem cell studies under guidance of the principle investigators or designee.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join a dynamic research team in the area of pluripotent stem cell biology. The candidate will apply cutting edge CRISPR technologies in human pluripotent stem cells and closely interact with other lab members to design and execute (epi-)genome editing projects. The individual will learn and apply human pluripotent stem cells and CRISPR technologies as well as molecular biology and epigenomics approaches.

PhD required. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cell culture and molecular biology.
