Job Description

The Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for a part-time temporary lecturer position (1-semester appointment) in the area of Biomedical Engineering for the Fall 2023 semester. The successful candidate will teach one biomedical engineering undergraduate course in systems biology - BME 430. We seek a candidate who is committed to fulfill the College of Engineering mission on diversity and inclusion (see https://engineering.umass.edu/about-us/inclusivity-statement).

Requirements

  • Masters (Ph.D. Preferred) in biomedical engineering or a closely related field.

  • Prior teaching experience.

  • Fundamental understanding of systems biology

Additional Information

Calendar year appointment 09/03/23 - 12/23/23. Non-benefitted. Expected salary $10,000 total.
