As a Residential Counselor, you will provide essential care and support to children with complex medical needs and developmental disabilities. Maximize resident engagement by fostering meaningful interactions and building strong, trusting relationships. Provide emotional support and encouragement as they work on skills like communication and social interaction. Be a safe and trusted person to transport them to medical appointments, therapy, and fun community outings. Collaborate with families and medical staff to ensure each child?s unique care plan is followed. About You: High school diploma or equivalent is a plus but not required (experience in this field is a bonus, but not required!). You?re caring, patient, and ready to help children achieve their goals. You?re eager to learn and grow with the team (we provide all the training you need, including CPR and First Aid certifications). Valid driver?s license and reliable transportation. Compensation: Base Pay: Starting at \$18.50 per hour without experience. Shift Differential: Earn up to \$3 per hour extra for weekend shifts, \$2 per hour extra for evening shifts, and \$1 per hour extra for overnight shifts, allowing you to increase your earnings based on your availability. Education & Experience Incentives: Earn extra hourly incentives for educational degrees, specific licenses such as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and/or years of experience. Example: Base pay of \$18.50 per hour (without experience) plus a \$3 per hour weekend shift differential means you could earn \$21.50 per hour for certain shifts!
