The School of Social Sciences, Humanities & Communications at Endicott College is seeking adjuncts for Fall 2022 to teach the following courses:
CMM115 Social Media: Theory & Practice (2 sections)
Tuesday/Thursday 9:30 - 10:45am
Tuesday/Thursday 11:00 - 12:15pm
CM306 Social Impact of the Media Tuesday/Thursday 8:00 – 9:15am
CMM400 Semester Internship Fridays 3:30 – 4:55pm
CMM489 Senior Theses I Fridays 2:00 – 3:25pm
The instructors are required to:
Abide by Endicott’s academic policies, policies in the College’s faculty handbook, and any policies that may be in place due to COVID-19
Use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of each course
Use Canvas as the course’s learning management system
Meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades
Communicate with the Faculty Lead for the Communication Division if and when issues arise concerning the teaching of specific classes
Meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter
Provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes
Use their Endicott email address when communicating with students.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree is required. Ph.D. preferred.
College level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
