The Curtis L. Gerrish School of Business is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance with the ability to teach a variety of undergraduate finance courses such as:
Introduction to Finance
Money and Banking
Management Decision Support Systems
Business Research Methods
Will require ability to teach effectively across students from all undergraduate levels. Scholarship in support of teaching and curriculum development as well as service to the college are required. Position includes academic advising of up to twenty-five students.
PhD in Finance or Economics or a Master’s degree and/or CFP®, CFA, or other certifications relevant to finance and financial services is required
10+ years relevant industry experience is preferred
Willingness and ability to learn new academic technology and engaged pedagogy to facilitate student learning
Demonstrated effectiveness in college-level teaching
Experience in use of computer technologies especially business simulations
Experience in curriculum development preferred
