The Finance Office at Endicott College is seeking an Associate Vice President of Finance (AVP). The AVP is a key member of the Finance team responsible for performing a wide range of financial and operational functions for the College. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance & Chief Operating Officer, the AVP oversees monthly closings and accounting, accounts payable, bursar, payroll, budget, planning, procurement, treasury, and risk management. The AVP is also a trusted member and advisor to the President’s Council. Primary responsibilities for the role of AVP, Finance include:
Directly supervise and oversee the Controller, Budget and Planning Director, Payroll Manager, Director of Purchasing and the Wylie Inn & Conference Center and Tupper Manor.
Develop and implement operating policies and procedures for areas of responsibility and communicate regularly to departmental staff, and campus community
Responsible for the successful completion of annual financial, A-133 federal, MOSFA, and 403 (b) audits as well as annual preparation of Forms 990, 990-T, and Mass PC.
Formulate and enforce policies and procedures related to financial operations and internal procurement controls.
Oversee and manage the treasury process, annual capital and operating budgets and procurement process.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Seven to ten years of related experience in higher education
Experience working with Workday and ERP implementations preferred
Strategic vision with the ability to execute.
