Job Description

Academic Advisors in the College of Arts and Sciences Academic Advising Center advise a caseload of first year students from majors from across the College and second year students who have not yet declared a major. Advisors will assist their students navigate the Universitys General Education program (BU Hub) while helping them develop a plan to realize their academic, career and life goals. Advisors will also participate in First Year Experience programming including teaching first year seminars and planning and leading programs. In cooperation with academic departments, advisors will work directly with faculty in the College to complement their efforts to advise students in the major and provide support for advising on the requirements of the BU Hub.
