For more information, visit The Maureen Murphy Wilkens School of Nursing and Clinical Sciences currently offers traditional BSN, RN to BSN completion program and MSN programs in Education and Management. It is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. The College seeks part time adjunct faculty to teach open lab time to support BSN students across the traditional BSN program for fall semester 2021 (Sept.-Dec.). Hours would be 2-4 hrs. per week during the evening. Lab faculty will support students in skill mastery across the traditional BSN program. They must demonstrate knowledge and experience in General Nursing, awareness of new developments in the field and an updated approach to teaching. They are responsible to foster the development of nursing skill competency, clinical judgement and application of nursing knowledge to practice. Open Lab Adjuncts collaborate with the faculty of the Maureen Wilkens School of Nursing to ensure that students are meeting lab and clinical objectives. They are responsible for direct supervision of students in the lab. Responsibilities: Recognizes and addresses varied learning styles *Communicates with course faculty to track student progress *Collaborates with lab and clinical faculty to support student remediation *Attend course specific orientation and meetings with course faculty Applicants must have a Massachusetts nursing license in good standing, and hold an MSN in Nursing.
