The Adjunct Faculty - Physiology and Pathophysiology contributes to departmental teaching in Physiology and Pathophysiology in the undergraduate, professional and graduate programs.
Teach (didactic and laboratory) topics in Physiology and Pathophysiology in the undergraduate, professional PharmD and graduate programs offered by the department and School of Pharmacy. Classes are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.30 p.m. - 6:20 p.m. during the Fall semester 2018. Maintain regular weekly office hours (three hours per week) for students.
Required: A PhD in Physiology/ Biology /Pharmacology or related bio-medical science Strong evidence of a commitment to teaching, excellent communication, time management, organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team Expertise in bio-medical assays and techniques Ability to work with classroom learning management systems (e.g. Blackboard)
Desired: Peer-reviewed published research in area of expertise preferred Post-doctoral experience preferred Research experience in pathophysiology and cellular biology Teaching in Physiology at a pharmacy / medical school
