Boston University ADMINISTRATIVE COORDINATOR, College of Fine Arts, School of Music in BOSTON, Massachusetts

The College of Fine Arts seeks an Administrative Coordinator for the School of Music. This position coordinates the daily aspects of running the Department of Production and Performance, while ensuring operational functions of the department are in compliance with the College and University protocols. Primary responsibilities are scheduling, budget and office oversight, including graduate student and work study supervision and interdepartmental communication. The Production and Performance Department is one of 5 departments at the School of Music. This position is responsible for all space scheduling within the School of Music at 855 Commonwealth Avenue. This includes concerts, recitals, dress rehearsals, shared studios, classrooms and practice rooms which occur routinely at the School of Music throughout the year. This position is also responsible for the creation of all student recital programs for performances in the School of Music.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., strong communication and interpersonal skills and one to three years of related experience with a background in classical music preferred.
