Job Description

To provide communication, marketing, and promotions support for the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department, working closely with the Chairman of the ECE Publicity Committee. Responsibilities include writing, editing, and developing creative and original content; serving as technical expert developing and implementing print and digital communications and marketing content; identifying and promoting researchers’ publications/projects/events; developing and implementing a comprehensive media relations strategy; advising on social media marketing campaigns; monitoring ECE’s websites to elevate the audience experience; creating attractive brochures, fliers, posters, and booklets; designing, targeting, executing, and evaluating the effectiveness of email campaigns; managing video production (e.g., designing shoots, filming, film editing, distribution); measuring and reporting on the effectiveness/performance of marketing/communications campaigns; and managing copyright requirements.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., Masters degree preferred. Intermediate computer/technical skills, especially in Microsoft Office, WordPress, and the Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent oral and written skills. One to three years of experience.
