Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Admissions, the Admissions Counselor participates in recruitment activities designed to achieve the College's enrollment goals and mission as a Catholic, co-educational, liberal arts and sciences college. Essential duties include: Recruiting students by representing Emmanuel College at high school visits, college fairs, virtual programs, and other events; interviewing prospective students; reviewing applications and recommending initial admissions decisions *Maintain contact with prospective students from initial stages of inquiry through enrollment *Planning and organizing on-campus and off-campus recruitment events *Analyzing recruitment data to make strategic decisions in assigned markets; creating and maintaining relationships with school and independent counselors to further Emmanuel's reach and name recognition *Other responsibilities include local and long-distance travel, participating in admissions committee decisions; maintaining contact with prospective students from initial stages of inquiry through enrollment; and planning and organizing on-campus and off-campus recruitment events. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the College's mission and the value of Catholic higher education; related admissions experience preferred (but not required), strong verbal and written skills, excellent presentation skills, data analysis skills, and an ability to take initiative for planning and implementing projects. Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks, and desire to work in team-oriented environment essential. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom is required. Slate CRM experience is preferred.
