Boston University ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, UNDERGRAD CAREER DEV, School of Management, Undergraduate in BOSTON, Massachusetts
Provide career development services to undergraduate students at Questrom School of Business, through individual advising/coaching, workshops, seminars, and career courses. Advise undergraduate students on career related topics such as career exploration, resumes and cover letters, technical and case interviews, search strategies, offer negotiation, and more. Collaborate with the undergraduate and MBA career coaching teams to apply best practices and provide world-class career services. Work with industry relations managers to gain information and promote internship and job opportunities to students, and to prepare students to interview for these roles. Participate in First Destination data collection efforts. Support institutional events, including orientation, senior kickoff, and other student events. Collaborate with colleagues in the Undergraduate Development Center and the BU Center for Career Development on opportunities to enhance career outcomes for Questrom students.
Required Skills
B.A./B.S., Master's Degree preferred
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office
Demonstrated ability to speak and present in a classroom environment
Five to eight years of experience in career counseling or recruiting
Some weekends and evening work may be required
