The Department of Art & Design at Suffolk University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position in Interior Design & Architecture at the Assistant Professor rank for fall, 2018 (pending final budgetary approval). We are seeking a curious, engaged and motivated studio instructor with the potential to help shape our design curriculum. Prior teaching and mentoring experience is critical; the ideal candidate will have experience teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The successful candidate will play an integral role in promoting inclusive design methodologies across campus and beyond.
Application should be made through the Suffolk HR website and should include the following: letter of application; CV; transcripts; statement of teaching philosophy; design portfolio; three professional letters of reference; examples of recent student work (if available); and student evaluations of teaching (if available). Review of applications will begin immediately, with a final application deadline of April 1, 2018.
