Job Description

The Assistant Registrar will assist in all aspects of the daily operation of Registrar’s Office including providing support to the GMS Registrar. Will work in tandem with University’s Registrar to provide confidential, accurate, and timely advising, registration services, and student advocacy, as well as records maintenance and records security services. Advice and counsel new and continuing students - as well as faculty and staff on graduation requirements, course choices, university policies, and student academic progress. May also supervise fellow employees.

Required Skills

Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Masters preferred. Two or more years of experience in higher education, enrollment management or student services. Knowledgeable with federal privacy laws such as FERPA, HIPAA, etc. Must maintain confidentiality of information. Skill Requirements: The ideal candidate is adaptable, highly motivated, professional, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. He or she will have a strong background in higher education and will be eager to contribute their idea for new and innovative solutions. Must be familiar and comfortable with changing technology. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
