MCPHS University Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing Analytics in Boston, Massachusetts

Overview

The Associate Director of Enrollment Analytics reports to the Director of Enrollment Marketing and is responsible for driving growth of our student prospect pool and conversion to enrollment through analyzing data to optimize student recruitment marketing, plus execute marketing automation processes within our systems to manage marketing collateral. As the office and position is newly formed and still establishing its scope of work, this is a tremendous opportunity to lay a foundation for excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Discover, interpret, report, and monitor internal and external data-driven insights on effectiveness, efficiencies, and ROI on all marketing projects and campaigns through detailed data analysis and assessment of Admission-centric data; reports will visually represent trends and initiatives, including tables, maps, and graphs.

  • Document KPIs, patterns, trends, stories, and accountability measures, translating them into actionable insights; recommend strategies and plans to address opportunities and gaps that drive conversion through the enrollment funnel from lead acquisition to matriculation.

  • Execute outbound communications within Salesforce platforms (Pardot, Marketing Cloud) including audience report and data extension generation; quality assurance and A/B testing; and deploying email, SMS, and other campaigns of varying frequency and mechanisms in collaboration with the Associate Director of Enrollment Marketing Operations.

  • Leverage programming/coding knowledge and Salesforce’s native languages to developmarketing communications within Salesforce platforms to create personalized, segmented, and journey-based communications based on audience data including demographic, behavorial, and CRM.

  • Model scenarios that measure effectiveness of new initiatives and isolate variables within strategies to determine impact of individual efforts within a dynamic approach to enrollment marketing.

  • Maintain and document data and analytical processes, marketing automation and procedures, programs and workflows.

  • Develop an analytics structure and reporting hub to help Enrollment Marketing and Admission understand its audiences and improve communications through providing and training users.

  • Evaluate and assess current systems the institution utilizes, and offer recommendations on how they can be leveraged to provide additional student recruitment opportunities.

  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Administrator and Admission Operations to develop, maintain, and assist with analytical and reporting needs within Admission staff users, communication plans, and campus partners.

  • This position may be asked to work nights and weekends on occasion for Enrollment Marketing and Admission needs.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably managing marketing analytics efforts in a complex organization

  • Strong set of broad technical skills and expertise with data management software to analyze, organize, and present data

  • Higher education enrollment marketing experience desired, but not required

Knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience of quantitative research and data analysis methodology with background in applied use of various statistical tools (e.g. SPSS, SQL, Excel).

  • Experience with CRM and data visualization systems, and programming languages. Salesforce, Pardot and Marketing Cloud experience and programming languages preferred. Demonstrated competencies and/or ability to learn new systems and programming skills accepted in lieu of experience with Salesforce platforms.

  • Experience with developing and manipulating data and reports in various data sources, including creating and maintaining complex logic. Experience with social platforms, plus Google Analytics and Data Studio, desired.

  • Knowledge of best practices in marketing desired.

  • Knowledge of higher education and areas of enrollment, admissions, and financial aid appreciated.

Physical Requirements

  • This position will be primarily based in either the Boston or Worcester MA campus depending on your location and interest, with occasional travel to the other campus and sporadic travel to the Manchester, NH campus.

  • Skills testing may be a component of the interview.
