Boston University ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF SPECIALTY MASTERS CAREER MANAGEMENT, Graduate Academic & Career Development Center, Questrom School of Business in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The Associate Director of Specialty Masters Career Management will develop and oversee a comprehensive strategy for all specialty masters career programming for the Graduate Academic & Career Development Center (Grad Center). This includes oversight of the career curriculum in each program, delivery of career coaching, and cultivation of industry partnerships and employer relations for a growing portfolio of specialty masters programs. This individual supervises and directs the specialty masters career team to develop innovative strategies that engage students and alumni while ensuring student satisfaction. The Associate Director drives collaboration across multiple departments including the MBA career coaching team and the Feld Center industry relations team, and works in close collaboration with the Faculty Directors, Faculty Leadership and alumni. In addition, this individual works in partnership with the Director of Special Programs and Initiatives to deliver an integrated student academic and career experience. The Associate Director will coach a cohort of specialty masters students on career related topics such as exploration, resumes, mock interview, search strategies, and more.

B.A./B.S. required, Masters Degree preferred. Knowledge of industry standard tools and assessments as they relate to career development, must have prior supervision experience, be able to drive innovative thinking, knowledge of career related software is preferred and a minimum of five years of experience in career coaching or counseling. Previous experience working in a cross-functional environment and with international students is highly preferred.
