Boston University ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, UNDERGRADUATE CAREER DEVELOPMENT, Questrom School of Business, Feld Center for Industry Alliances in BOSTON, Massachusetts

The Associate Director of Undergraduate Career Development works under the direction of the Director of Career Services and Strategy to support initiatives related to students in the undergraduate program in the Questrom School of Business. The Associate Director serves as the undergraduate career development program lead and works with the Director to design workshops and curricular strategies and develop innovative methods to engage the undergraduate student population for the purpose of career education. The Associate Director plays a critical role in delivering industry-leading services to maintain high levels of student success. The Associate Director works closely with the Industry Relations Management team, the Undergraduate Development Center, and the Boston University Center for Career Development. The Associate Director advises undergraduate students on career related topics such as career exploration, resumes and cover letters, technical and case interviews, search strategies, and more. The Associate Director also provides leadership, in collaboration with the faculty course coordinator, to the required undergraduate career development seminars, and also teaches seminars.

Required Skills

B.S./B.A. required, Masters Degree strongly preferred. Experience managing and motivating professional employees; superior communications skills, both written and oral; strong interpersonal skills; strong computer skills; ability to drive innovative thinking, strong emotional intelligence, and eight to ten years of previous experience in industry or higher education career services or related. Remote work up to two days per week is offered throughout the calendar year.
