Boston University Associate Professor of the Practice, Real Estate & Entrepreneurship, School of Hospitality Administration in Boston, Massachusetts

  • Teach up to 6 classes per academic year at the undergraduate and graduate level including, but not limited to Hospitality Real Estate; Hotel Development; Market Feasibility; Entrepreneurship; Consumer Behavior; Senior Housing

  • Lead Real Estate and Entrepreneurship concentrations at the graduate and undergraduate level; develop real estate concentration curriculum and teach courses based on the curriculum, recruit board members for the real estate board at BU School of Hospitality organize an annual conference in hospitality real estate; recruit faculty members and guest lecturers for the concentration.

  • Create and lead a real estate advisory council.

  • Participate in professional and university service such as University committees, student advising, college committees, and administrative management of curriculum

  • Participate in industry professional activities, scholarly activities, and industry consulting.

Required Skills

  • Must have Master’s in real estate or related field.

  • Must have 8 years of experience in the field of hospitality real estate. The stated experience must include the following: (1) hospitality real estate acquisition; (2) market feasibility; (3) hotel property performance; (4) management on an international scale; (5) 1 year of teaching at the University/College level
