With a growing local presence, our goal is to provide superior service to State and Local Education Agencies in the areas of Special Education, School-based Medicaid, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Professional Development, and other PK-12 education program needs. For self-started, motivated individuals, there is an excellent opportunity for career development and advancement. Consultants act as a point of contact for school administrators, clinicians, and teachers to understand their needs and provide solutions. Your goal is to bring our services to prospective customer conversations, and provide our current clients with the tools and insight necessary to feel empowered in their day-to-day jobs. Responsibilities Our team will provide the new Consultant with a comprehensive, challenging training plan to ensure: + Within first 30 days, understand and articulate current engagements, service offerings in New York, and start to attend client meetings + Within 60 days, ability to confidently lead client meetings and start to participate in our business development roadmap + Within 120 days, ability to confidently lead prospective client demonstrations and implementations, as well as meet quarterly engagement targets After the successful training plan, the Consultant can expect to evenly split focus between initial and legacy client engagements, as well as prospective client discussions and demonstrations, including: + Act as a client representative for PCG projects in New York, with an initial focus on Special Education data management and school-based Medicaid reimbursement + Learn relevant local, state and federal program regulations (e.g. Special Education, MTSS and Medicaid) + Develop excellent working knowledge of PCG products and services, and how those solutions can meet client needs + Serve as a primary point of contact with new clients. + Maintain records/documentation for all client meetings + Confidently lead prospective client discussions, demonstrations, as well as new client implementations, and legacy client trainings + Collaborate with other staff to develop status reports, training materials and present to clients + Utilize web-based tools and data to make recommendations that improve customer implementations and prospective client discussions and demonstrations + Participates and leads aspects of proposal responses + Actively works to align the business development strategy with product and/or service development Qualifications Required Skills + Actively recognize areas for improvement, as well as promote and execute collaborative solutions + Commitment to exceptional client service and confidently lead with credibility. + Creative problem-solving ability and a consultancy mindset. + Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, business teams, and technical colleagues + Dedication to accomplishing goals and challenges presented by clients and firm + Ability to interact with various levels of internal and external staff + Ability to recognize issues and identify solutions + Solid organization and time management skills + Ability to keenly listen to client needs and align to PCG’s products and services + Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from project leadership, colleagues and clients + Excellent writing skills, including ability to compose reports, business correspondence and procedures + Sound judgment in completing tasks and in seeking guidance when needed from team members + Demonstrated expertise in MS Office products, particularly PowerPoint, Access, Excel and Word. + Strong research and project management capabilities Required Experience + Bachelor's degree + At least four (4) years of related experience in education, healthcare or consulting Differentiating Experience + Prior experience in any of the following areas: + SaaS business development and client management + PK-12 education, including classroom, administration, finance/business operations or information technology + Special Education instructional practice, compliance, and regulations + School-based health services and/or Medicaid programs + MTSS or Response to Intervention (RtI) intervention practice + Prior use of project management or CRM software, such as Asana, Zendesk and/or Microsoft Dynamics + Master’s degree or related professional certification a plus #LI-DM1 EEO Statement Public Consulting Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer dedicated to celebrating diversity and intentionally creating a culture of inclusion.
