Works as part of the Simulator Program Training and Performance team to design, develop and deliver simulation activities to meet a broad range of clinical and patient needs.
Develops and maintains supportive relationships with clinical service partners (CSP) and existing simulation educators within units to enhance the development of simulation activities and quality assurance mechanisms and patient and family representatives, to ensure all relevant inputs into design and content development for simulation-based videos and activities
Monitors program effectiveness, reviewing associated evaluations, modifying or adapting programs as needed to ensure Simulator Program offerings are performed according to established standards, guidelines, and instruction.
Identifies appropriate applications of simulation technology consistent with specific and/or special needs of partners.
Working under direct supervision, supports the coordination and delivery of recurring video-based programs, and supports related Faculty Development offerings as required.
Develops and maintains advancing knowledge of current trends in video-based education and simulation, practices, and techniques through participation in professional organizations, attendance at conferences, seminars, and other continuing education programs.
Serves as a member of the Simulator Program and interdisciplinary team. Communicates issues as they arise to the Director of Curriculum Design and Quality. Promotes an environment that fosters professional growth and collegiality
Drafts scenarios for simulation-based filming in consultation with subject matter experts on transgender health along with consultants and the co-investigators.
To qualify, you must:
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of related work experience. Master's preferred.
Knowledge of educational development theory and practice.
Analytical, diplomacy, negotiation, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to achieve innovative curricular solutions within a fast-paced and dynamic hospital setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with faculty locally, regionally, and abroad and make contributions to the field through publication.
