The BELL Foundation Inc Director, Solutions Integration in Boston, Massachusetts
BELL (Building Educated Leaders for Life) is the largest evidence-based summer learning provider in the United States and a national leader in PK-8th grade out-of-school education. Founded in 1992, BELL closes the achievement gap in underserved communities through its partnerships with schools, school districts and other youth-serving organizations to reach 18,000+ public school students annually across the country.
BELL strives to make a difference in the lives of children—called BELL Scholars—along with their families and teachers. Standardized tests indicate that BELL Scholars consistently gain the equivalent of three months of classroom instruction in literacy and math skills during their program. In addition to the academic gains, BELL Scholars experience significant increase in their confidence and expectations for the future—in fact 100% of the first class of BELL Scholars are currently in college.
