Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School seek applications and nominations for the position of Chief of the Division of Arthroplasty and Joint Reconstruction in the Department of Orthopaedics. This full time position is intended for a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic arthroplasty surgeon. The successful candidate will be an experienced academician and clinician who can build and sustain clinical care programs and provide strong leadership for the clinical, educational and scientific activities within the Division. The applicant must possess a strong academic track record, proven administrative and leadership abilities, and outstanding teaching skills. Proposed academic rank at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements.
Clinical practice will be based at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Level I trauma center in the heart of Boston’s Longwood Medical Area, with additional clinical opportunities available at Beth Israel’s affiliated partner hospitals.This role is an employment model position with Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Inc.
