About the Role
Boston University Enrollment Services Operations seeks a Financial Aid Systems Lead. The Financial Aid Systems Lead is responsible for completing hands-on functional and technical activities to support the Campus Solutions Admissions and Campus Community modules and their supported integrations with financial aid systems across campus, including graduate and undergraduate systems, supporting 25,000 prospective and current students. This position is a professional role that will work to support sustainment, enhancements, and defect fixes simultaneously on different workstreams of the project, including system design/configuration, data conversion, integration requirements, data management and reporting.
The Financial Aid Systems Lead works closely leads in the other functional areas (Student Record, Academic Advising, Student Financials, Admissions) to ensure cross-functional synergies In addition, the position will collaborate closely with IS&T technical support for the Campus Solutions, Pro Ed and Onbase systems. This position reports to the Senior Associate Director for Financial Aid Systems.
The Financial Aid Systems Lead’s primary duties include:
Analyzing, designing, developing and/or improving business processes to meet university objectives;
Overseeing timely completion of cyclical business processes for graduate and undergraduate financial aid;
Facilitating workshops about key product features;
Maintaining support documentation artifacts;
Resolving issues and defects related to financial aid systems and;
Working with vendors of packaged applications.

About the Candidate
A bachelor’s degree is required for this position. We are seeking a candidate who:
Has at least five years of previous experience in a similar role, ideally in programming or in higher education;
Possesses strong analytical and organizational skills;
Is detail-oriented;
Is an effective problem solver and communicator;
Is able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment;
Is committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion and;
Has an understanding of JCL, HTML, Microsoft Office products and familiarity with data analysis tools.
This role will require extensive work with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. Experience with Campus Solutions, or a similar student information platform is highly preferred
