This is a pipeline posting for a future opportunity as an Inside Sales Representative. While we are not hiring for this position today, we anticipate openings soon and want to connect with qualified candidates in advance.
About the Role:
The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in supporting our customers and achieving revenue and margin targets. You'll be responsible for responding to quote requests, monitoring bid boards (like DIBBS, GSA eBuy, SAM.gov), and developing relationships with repeat customers while managing a healthy sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
Answer customer inquiries regarding product specs, availability, and pricing via phone and email
Recommend solutions tailored to customer missions and interests
Quote prices, terms, and delivery info while utilizing ERP and Salesforce systems
Maintain and track quotes, customer info, and opportunities in Salesforce
Monitor procurement portals to identify new opportunities
Support clients post-sale and provide ongoing customer service
Collaborate with the regional sales team to pass along qualified leads
Work toward individual and team sales/margin targets
What You Bring to the Table:
Associate’s degree in Business or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with government sales or federal contracting (a plus)
Strong communication and organization skills
Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office; Salesforce experience is a bonus
Ability to build rapport, manage competing priorities, and deliver exceptional customer support
