Responsibilities:

The Graduate Assistant works twenty hours per week to support the Assistant Director of Campus Life in creating and implementing educational, social and recreational programming for students of MCPHS University.

Serve as a co-advisor for the Assembly of Clubs and Professional Organization?s (ACPO) which oversees the 70 plus clubs and professional organizations at MCPHS Boston. Serve as co-advisor of Campus Activities Board Assist with budget, event approvals, training development and promotion for ACPO and CAB. Plan the Fall and Spring Campus Life Fair Oversee the new club and professional organizations process in the Fall and Spring Design Spring trainings for ACPO and CAB executive board members Assist with the recruitment and selection for ACPO and CAB for the next academic year Contribute to the planning of major events like Harvest Ball, Leadership Awards and Clam BQ Assist with large scale campus wide programming including, but not limited to, Orientation, Family Weekend and Commencement

Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Assistant Director of Campus Life.

Required: Currently or will be pursuing a master?s degree in higher education and/or student affairs administration, education, counseling or related field concurrently while in the position.
