This is a Direct Hire role based in Boston, MA operating on a hybrid schedule, 2-3 days remote each week. Role: This position will provide comprehensive grants management (pre- and post-award) support to the research investigators (PIs) in the Division of Infectious Diseases. The Division of Infectious Diseases is a semi-autonomous division of the Department of Medicine at Brigham and Women?s Hospital. The division supports over $26 million worth of grant funded activities each year. This Grant Administrator position reports directly to the Senior Grant Administrator of the Division. At present, this position provides support to the PIs in the division. There are currently 55 faculty members and more than 200 support staff. The Grant Administrator is responsible for a varied funding portfolio, including includes federally sponsored research grants, industry sponsored clinical trials, and subcontracts from academic institutions. This position works on a team of 3 other Grant Administrators (including the Senior Grant Administrator) to support the needs of the division?s research arm. In addition to the Senior Grant Administrator, other division Grant Administrators, and PIs, this position will have the opportunity for regular interaction with members of Partners Research Management (including the central Pre-Award, Post-Award, and Research Finance offices and Partners Clinical Research Office), as well with other research and administrative staff within the division. Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree required. 1-3+ years grants management experience required. Experience with federally funded research grants preferred. Experience working in an academic medical center or university preferred. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a highly complex grant portfolio. Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and accept responsibility for designated assignments. Ability to work in a team of other division grant administrators, research staff, administrative staff, PIs, and Research Management. Ability to provide high level customer service to PIs.
