PRIMARY PURPOSE : To design complex training courses and materials in compliance with the process of learning using eLearning tools; to assist with organizing and conducting training using a webinar tool; to assist internal and external customers with complex learning strategies taking into consideration the generational make-up of customers; and to test learning deliverables ensuring performance improvement in line with business goals.


  • Designs courseware and course certification in compliance with company process of learning.

  • Ensures course developers are in compliance with company process of learning.

  • Creates and maintains pre-, post- and behavioral change assessments within each course; uses data to provide statistical proof that course objectives are being achieved.

  • Creates tools and processes ensuring ongoing consistency of learning content resulting in the successful achievement of operational and business objectives.

  • Researches technology and media options for effective adult blended learning on an ongoing basis.

  • Identifies and links content and delivery of cross-functional subjects as part of the claims management systems training as appropriate.

  • Seeks pathways to expand professional expertise in adult learning principles and blended learning.


  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Supports the organization's quality program(s).

  • Travels as required.


Education & Licensing

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Learning or business-related discipline from an accredited college or university preferred. Master's degree in Instructional Design in Adult Learning preferred. Professional designation or equivalency such as CPCU, AIR, ARM or AIC strongly preferred. Completion of specialized training in Instructional Design strongly preferred.


Eight (8) years of systems training experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include three (3) years claims-related technical training/instructional development, three (3) years Microsoft Office experience, three (3) years customer service experience, and two (2) years internal applications experience required.
