Job Description

Marketing and Communications Specialist is a key team member of the Graduate Affairs unit in the College of Communication. This individual has oversight over technology, prospect, inquiry and applicant database management, recruitment and yield initiatives, current student community building (including management of the COMGrad Newsletter, Student Ambassador Program, and Graduate Student Council), and a variety of events. The Marketing and Communications Specialist plays a vital role in recruitment and yield processes, and works extensively with the entire team to build and strengthen the incoming and current graduate classes. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Graduate Affairs.

Required Skills

B.A./B.S., strong communication and interpersonal skills and one to three years of experience. Familiarity with academic settings and graduate application process a plus. Applications with out cover letters will not be considered.
